Nick has experience representing clients in both Pasco and Pinellas County along with other counties throughout Florida.

Nick is a critical incident attorney for the Sun Coast Police Benevolent Association and the Florida Police Benevolent Association. He has represented members of both of these organizations for almost 18 years. In this capacity he has represented over 175 law enforcement officers involved in shooting incidents, in custody deaths, on duty accidents, pursuits, internal affairs, arbitrations, chain of command review boards, criminal matters and civil litigation. Serving in this role requires Nick to be on call 24/7 in the event of an officer involved incident. These incidents usually occur in the middle of the night and require Nick to be available and ready to respond at a moment’s notice, which he has consistently done for almost 18 years.

Nick has completed the necessary training to become a Florida Supreme Court Qualified Arbitrator and FINRA Arbitrator. He is a Certified Florida Supreme Court Mediator in the area of Family and Marital Law and a qualified Parent Coordinator for the Sixth Circuit.
Service to the community is very important to Nick. Nick has spent hours serving on the Intervention and Appeals Committee at Madeira Beach Fundamental School where his children attended. The purpose of this committee is to intervene, ask questions and provide input to increase student success, ensure compliance with approved procedures, and hear appeals. He continues in this role today even though his children no longer attend this school. Nick has also volunteered hours for the Seminole High Football team to help rebuild their parent volunteers after the team booster club was dissolved due to theft. He has assisted the team with meals, running the parking lot during games, collecting donations for the support of the team, coordinating team activities and actively working to put a new organization in place. Nick is also a member of the Seminole Lake Rotary where he volunteers his time with Horses for Handicapped, The Florida Dream Center and at other community events. Nick provides pro bono services to those in need of legal services through the Community Law Program, Bay Area Legal Services and the Minnis Bar Association Ask a Lawyer events. Nick also prepares Wills and Living Wills at no cost for members and spouses of the Sun Coast Police Benevolent Association.
Nick is a hard worker and believes that in whatever you do you need to give it your all. He has dedicated his time to his family, running his law firm and actively participating in the community. If he is elected to be a Judge for the Sixth Circuit encompassing Pasco and Pinellas he will serve with the same dedication and commitment that he has shown in other aspects of his life.
His respect for the rule of law and integrity will benefit him if elected. Nick has a reputation for treating people with respect and dignity. He will work hard on the bench for the people of Pasco and Pinellas as a circuit court judge. Nick will dedicate his time to this very important job if elected and will continue to be an active part of the community. As former chair of marital and family law section and current member of the Board of Directors for the St. Petersburg Bar Association he knows how important it is to have judges who are willing to participate in educational events for attorneys, other judges and the legal community as in the end it benefits all those who participate in our judicial system.
